Shouts out to Okayplayer I've been a member for years and they have definitely made some improvements! If you didnt know they are the fansite for The Roots, E Badu, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Solange, Jill Scott, Little Brother etc. It was created by Questlove and Angela Nissel (Scrubs).Anyway I found this video of one of my favorite artists, E Badu. Actually shes on my top 5 for best Live show. Anyway she was on tour wit The Roots earlier this year and I found this video of her talkin about that crazy time. Its pretty cool and she's tryin to get Andre 3000 in the studio! She also seems really happy and says it. I think this is right before her pregnancy was announced....Check it out!

Like lets really talk about this. I'm an 80's baby which mean that my highschool years were filled with ATCQ (for the kids A Tribe Called Quest). Of course the album that encompass's my high school years is "Midnight Marauders" (got damn thats a classic!). Anyway through the years Qtip has been a constant in my life (unbeknownst to him lol). And he just gets better! Shit Im still waiting for the Qtip singing joint (even though most of the real fans already have the songs lol). Anyway I just wanted to take the time to GIVE IT UP to one of the most consistent people in Hip Hop... Oh and i love the new song! Heres the video..."Getting Up" Promise you will love it too. It was a great show yall! Especially if youre an 80's baby who grew up in a music filled (and sometimes smoke filled lol) household! Man Tina Marie killed it! And then there was a singer you should look up (im learning myself) but her name is Sugarpie Disanto (sp?) and she is72 years old! Man when I tell you she got on stage and did a flip that mos of us couldnt do! lol And then there is the video I have of Chaka cussin out the photographers in the media room, CLASSIC!! (coming soon)...Oh and let me shout out the up and coming legends that were honoring the greats. Biggups to Aja and Fatin (Kindred) my sister Jaguar Wright, Anthony Hamilton, Lalah Hathaway (who along with her mother honered her father Donny), Vivian Green oh and Wayne Brady!
